Old operating systems

If you are using an old version of Windows or MacOS, you may want to check the compatibility of your system, and if required use an older build of VirtuaDJ.

Note: It is highly recommended to keep your operating system up to date, as deprecated OS have a higher risk of malware. Also, new features and fixes are not available in VirtualDJ's older builds.
But, some older DJ hardware may not be compatible with the latest available Operating systems. Before upgrading, you should check the manufacturer's websites to ensure that all hardware that you will be using (Sound cards, MIDI controllers, etc.) is compatible.

Legacy products

Over the past 30 years, VirtualDJ has been released in many versions and under many names. In 2014, all the previous versions were deprecated, and all our software are now unified under the same VirtualDJ umbrella.

Wether you owned AtomixMP3, eJay DJMixStation, Numark CUE, Virtual Vinyl, PCDJ VJ, djDecks, or any other ancestor of VirtualDJ, they have all been replaced by VirtualDJ 2025.

If you own an old controller that used to have a keycode for VirtualDJ 7 LE in the box, rest assured, while this version has been discontinued, the controllers still work natively in VirtualDJ 2025, and the old keycode can provide you with a discount if you wish to upgrade to a PRO license.
